Custom Cloud pricing is the total of the raw infrastructure costs plus a management rate.

Raw Infrastructure Costs

We will provide clear cost estimates once we learn your needs. The information below is only to give a general idea of raw infrastructure costs from enterprise cloud providers.

If you already know the infrastructure you need, you can estimate raw infrastructure costs by ignoring the number of servers and considering only the total amount of resources used across all of your servers.

To estimate monthly raw infrastructure costs from AWS or Google Cloud, add up the following:

$20.00 × number of CPUs
 $2.50 × GB of RAM
 $0.20 × GB of disk space
 $0.15 × GB of outbound traffic

Enterprise cloud providers such as AWS and Google Cloud do not charge for traffic into their data centers so inbound traffic is free.

Note that infrastructure costs vary based on data center locations. For example, infrastructure costs are generally higher in Asia and South America than they are in North America and Europe.

Management Rate

Our management rate is a fixed amount plus a factor of the raw infrastructure costs, excluding traffic (bandwidth) costs. The cost of traffic is still included in the raw infrastructure costs we invoice you for, but the cost of traffic does not influence our management rate.

As the complexity of every Custom Cloud situation is different, we’ll first learn about your cloud engineering needs and then we’ll quote a management rate for your project. The minimum monthly management rate is $500.

Billing Methods and Frequency

Your card on file is charged each month for the combined amount of the raw infrastructure costs plus EarlyDog’s management rate. Other payment options such as paying by invoice are available on request.
